Engineering for Engineers

Engineering

At AUSCO, we understand what it’s like to be an aerospace engineer.  Tough requirements. Tight deadlines.  Small budgets.

Our goal is to help make each product the best it can be and to bring it home on budget.  We know what it’s like because that’s what we do.  All day.  Every day.  We make the best products so every one of our customers can make the best products.

A Culture of Engineering

Engineering is a core competency at AUSCO.  Allan U. Stone, our founder was an Engineer dedicated to solving challenging fluid control problems.  We continually hire and train top level Engineers who are experienced at Design, Analysis, Manufacturing and Testing and work together to support our customers from conceptualization through product development and through service life.

A HISTORY OF DESIGNS

Drawing

When you request information, we look through our database with over 3,000 designs developed over 60 years to find the right starting block for your application.

DESIGNS THAT WORK

At Ausco, we design for the real world.  Our designs incorporate features to make them more dirt tolerant.  And we don’t mean just screens.  A clogged screen is still a failure mode.

You can’t over-torque an AUSCO valve.  We generally design for 250% of the rated installation torque.  Because someone out there has an oversized wrench.

THE RIGHT TOOLS

Ultimately, software is just a tool.  A hammer can be a basic tool for building or destroying.  It all depends on how you wield it.  We know that the software doesn’t give the full answer.  As experts in our field, we are able to interpret the data to maximize your performance.  We use the following software in our engineering design process:

  • Solidworks® CAD and PDM from Dassault Systemes
  • ANSYS® software for Structural
  • CFD, and Electromagnetics Simulations
  • Advanced Spring Design software from SMI
